Mobile network companies in Pakistan

The world of mobile network in Pakistan is a little different. Here, not Jio or Airtel, but companies like Jazz, Telenor, Zong, Ufone and SCOM are spreading their charm. If the name of any one comes on top among these, then it is Jazz.

This company has the most customers.
Jazz i.e. Pakistan Mobile Communication Limited (PMCL), is actually formed by the merger of two big companies - Mobilink and Warid Pakistan. After this merger, Jazz occupied the top position in the telecom sector there. Today, about 7.3 crore people in Pakistan use Jazz's network, which covers a large part of the country's total population.

These companies also dominate

After this comes Telenor, whose number of users is about 4.8 crores. Zong is also not far behind, it has about 4.5 crore users. Talking about Ufone, it has about 2.3 crore customers and SCOM has about 1.68 crore people who are connected to its network. According to the census of Pakistan, the total population of Pakistan in 2023 was about 24.75 crores.

These payment apps are used

Now let's talk about how mobile recharge is done in Pakistan. Just like in India, recharge is done easily with apps like PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, similarly in Pakistan also there are many online platforms and apps which provide this facility.

Apps like MobileRecharge, Ding, doctorSIM, BOSS Revolution, TelephonePakistan and Recharge.com are most used there. The user just has to choose the mobile number, recharge amount and payment option and the recharge is done in a few seconds.

This company's dominance in India

Now let's return to India. The dominance of Jio here is not hidden from anyone. According to the December 2024 report of Telecom Regulatory Authority of India i.e. TRAI, about 42 crore people in India use Reliance Jio's network. This figure is proof that Jio currently rules the hearts of the people of India.
