IPhone Manufuchering Starts at Tata Group's new factory

Over the past few years, the APPL company has increased iPhone production rapidly. Tata Electronics of the Tata group has started production of iPhone in their new factory in Hosur in Tamil Nadu. China has a big share in the production of iPhone. To prevent the United States imposed on goods imported from China, Apple plans to increase iPhone production in India.

In this factory of Tata Electronics, the old model of iPhone will be built on the assembly line. According to a newspaper of reuters, the production of iPhone will soon start at the Foxconn's factories of the largest contract manufacturer of the Apple of Apple, which is being constructed in Karnataka near Bangalore. In this factory, 300-500 iPhone units can be built every hour. Asseks will be made at iPhone 16 and 16. It is expected that the factory will create approximately 50,000 jobs when it comes to full capacity.

Tata Electronics, Apple and Foxconn did not respond to the request for comment. China's share in the production of iPhone is more than 75 percent. In the last financial year, Foxconn's revenue in India doubled and reached around Rs 1.7 lakh crore. The number of foxconn workers has increased by 65 percent. Foxconn has about 80,000 workers in the country. This Taiwanese company is the largest manufacturer of iPhone.

Recently, Electronics and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had said that in the last financial year, the share of smartphones from the country was about Rs 1.5 lakh crore. He had said that guidelines for the government's electronics component scheme of Rs 22,919 crore would be issued in the next few weeks. This year, Foxconn plans to assemble about million iPhone units. Foxconn can benefit from the tax exemption announced on the import of smartphone holidays in this year's budget. Apple is planning to start production of Airods, MacBook and iPad in the country. Airpods production for exports to Foxconn's Hyderabad plant may begin soon.
