The veteran television actress and mother of renowned Pakistani model and actress Iman Ali, Humaira Abid Ali, has died.

The sad news was shared by singer Rahma Ali, who announced that her mother had passed away in an Instagram post. She informed that funeral prayer will be said after Maghrib prayers adjacent to Sui Gas Society, Phase 5, DHA, Lahore.

Humaira Abid Ali was a renowned and gifted actress who started her acting career in the golden age of Pakistan Television (PTV). With her graceful acting and strong screen presence, she became one of the iconic faces of PTV dramas remembered by many and admired by the audience and industry people alike.

Throughout her career, Humaira became acquainted with legendary actor Abid Ali, and the two later got married. After marriage, Humaira stepped back from showbiz for a while to raise their three daughters, including Iman Ali and Rahma Ali. Though away temporarily from the screen, her influence could not be broken.

Later on, Abid Ali wedded actress Rabia Noman in a second union. Even though this chapter was troublesome for him personally, Humaira confronted life with grace and courage. She gradually returned to the field of entertainment, resuming her position as an experienced actress.

The news of her death has sent shockwaves among fans and peers, lamenting the loss of a class and motivational artist. Tributes have already started pouring in from all over the entertainment community, recalling her contribution to Pakistani television and her long-lasting legacy in the arts.
