REET Result 2024: Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) is going to declare the result of Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Examination (REET) 2024 today, May 8, 2025. Board administrator Mahesh Chandra Sharma will release the REET Result 2024 at 3:15 pm. Candidates who appeared in this exam can check their result by visiting the official website reet2024.co.in or rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in.
REET 2024: Minimum Passing Marks
To pass the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) 2024, it will be mandatory for male candidates of the general category to get at least 60 percent marks. However, the state government has given relief in minimum passing marks to many sections under social justice.
Board of Secondary Education Secretary and REET Coordinator Mahendra Kumar Sharma informed that for the candidates of Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Sahariya Tribes residing in Tribal Dominated Areas (TSP), only 36 percent marks will be sufficient.
Apart from this, the minimum passing marks for the following categories are as follows:
Scheduled Castes (SC), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Most Backward Classes (MBC), Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 55 percent marks
Widows and deserted women (in all categories) and ex-servicemen: 50 percent marks
Disabled candidates: 40 percent marks
The REET exam was held in February
The REET 2024 exam was conducted in three shifts on 27 and 28 February. A total of 13,77,256 candidates appeared in this exam. Out of these, 4,06,953 appeared for Level 1 and 9,70,303 appeared for Level 2. A total of 15,44,518 applications were received for this exam.
The answer key was released, and objections were answered.
The REET exam was conducted at 1731 examination centers in 41 districts of Rajasthan. The board had uploaded the answer key of the exam on March 19 and sought objections till March 31. After resolving these objections, the final result is now being released.
Benefits of bonus marks
Bonus marks have been given in some questions in REET 2024 Level 1 and Level 2. Three questions have been removed in Level 1, and two questions have been removed in Level 2, for which bonus marks will be given. Apart from this, considering two options as correct in 7 questions, marks will be given to those candidates who have chosen any of these options.
