Pea dal, which we often eat in the form of soup or lentils, eating at night can cause flatulence. The fiber and starch present in it make gas in the stomach, especially at night when our digestive system slows down. Eat it in the afternoon and cook it well and soak it before eating.

Tips to avoid stomach gas

If you want to avoid gas problem, eat light and easily digested food at night. Soak pulses for 6-8 hours before cooking, so that their gas producing elements are reduced. After eating, walk a little and drink plenty of water. Add spices like ginger, cumin and asafoetida, which improve digestion. With these small changes, you can get relief from the problem of gas.
