What did Rishabh Pant do?
When Ben Stokes and Harry Brook were batting in England's first innings, vice-captain Rishabh Pant was standing with the umpire to change the ball. This was in the 61st over, when the umpire refused to change the ball after checking it, while Pant wanted the umpire to check it once again and change it. After being refused by the umpire, Rishabh Pant threw the ball forcefully on the ground, many videos of this also went viral on social media.
Ground umpires Chris Gaffney and Paul Reiffel as well as third umpire Sharafuddullah Ibne Shahid and fourth umpire Mike Burns accused Rishabh Pant. However, no disciplinary hearing took place as Pant admitted the offence.
Today is the decisive day of Leeds Test
Today is the last day of the first Test between India and England. England need 350 runs to win, India need 10 wickets to win. Jasprit Bumrah is in good form but if we have to create history by winning today, then other bowlers will also have to support him.
