Shivling Prasad: In Hinduism, worship of Lord Shankar, the god of Gods, has special significance. It has been told in Shivpuran that whatever offerings are made on the Shivling, the offerings are dedicated to the Chandeshwar Gana of Lord Shiva. Actually, Gana named Chandeshwar appeared from the mouth of Lord Shiva, who was appointed as the supreme ghosts and Shivagans. For this reason, Prasad offered on Shivling is considered part of Chandeshwar. According to religious belief, eating this offerings causes negativity, mental stress and many other problems. For this reason, prasad offered on a Shivling made of stone, soil, or ceramic is never eaten.

Metal Shivling

Prasad offered on a Shivling made of Shivling like copper, silver, gold, and brass made of metal is not considered part of Chandeshwar Maharaj. Prasad offered on them is part of Lord Shankar, so eating this offer does not cause any fault.

Parad Shivling

Parada Shivling is quite sacred and proven. Prasad offered on it is without eclipse. Eating this offer destroys sins and receives the blessings of Lord Shiva.

Shaligram worshiped Shivling

When Lord Shaligram is worshiped with Shivling, this offerings become edible. Actually, Shaligram is considered to be the form of Lord Vishnu and with his presence, the offerings offered to the Shivling are purified.

Take care of these things in the worship of Lord Shankar

• Always offer fruits, sweets, milk and bell -letters to Lord Shankar.
• Always worship Shivalinga with rituals and chant the mantra ‘Om Namah Shivaya’ while offering water, belpatra and other ingredients.
• Do not offer coconut water to Lord Shankar. It is believed that Maa Lakshmi resides in coconut.
• Never use black clothes in worship.
• Never use a conch in worship of Lord Shankar.
