CSBC Driver Constable Recruitment 2025: If you are a 12th pass and looking for a government job, then you have a great opportunity to get a job in the Bihar Police Department. Central Constable Selection Board, Bihar has issued a notification for recruitment to Driver Constable posts. Under this recruitment drive, 4361 posts will be recruited in the organization. The notification is available on the official website of CSBC csbc.bihar.gov.in.

Registration will start from July 21
According to the official notification, the registration process for this recruitment will start from July 21 and will run till August 20, 2025. Candidates must have a 12th pass or equivalent qualification to apply.

Eligibility Criteria
The minimum educational qualification required for recruitment to the basic post of Driver Constable is Intermediate (10+2) pass or equivalent.
The candidate must also have a light motor vehicle / heavy motor vehicle driving license.

Age Limit
The age of the candidate will be calculated based on the date of birth mentioned in the certificate of Matriculation or equivalent examination. As per the cut-off date, the age limit of the candidates will be as follows, according to the reservation category:

Minimum age 20 years and maximum age 25 years for the non-reserved category;

Minimum age 20 years and maximum age 27 years for men of the Backward Class category and the Extremely Backward Class category;

Minimum age 20 years and maximum age 28 years for women of the Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class category;

Minimum age 20 years and maximum age 30 years for all candidates of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category, and candidates of Transgender category.

Candidates previously employed or already on contract in the post of Driver Constable in the Bihar Police Organization will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit till the period of contract employment.

Selection Process
The selection process will include a written examination followed by a physical efficiency test. Written examination and physical efficiency test will not be the basis of the merit list. The written exam will qualify for the physical efficiency test only, and the physical efficiency test will qualify for the motor vehicle driving efficiency test and document verification.

Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 180 for SC/ST category candidates and Rs 675 for other candidates. The fee must be paid through online mode.
