New Delhi: Before the monsoon session of Parliament, a virtual meeting of India Alliance was held. Leaders of 24 parties participated in this meeting. The issues to be raised in the monsoon session of Parliament were discussed in the meeting. Congress party’s Rajya Sabha MP Pramod Tiwari held a press conference after the meeting ended. He said that in the meeting, all the parties have agreed to raise 8 major issues in the Parliament.

Congress’ Pramod Tiwari said at the ‘India’ alliance meeting that most of the leaders expressed concern that the government has not yet brought the terrorists of the Pahalgam attack to justice. Where did the terrorists disappear after carrying out the incident? The sky ate them up or the earth swallowed them up.

The Congress MP said that we want the Parliament to run smoothly, the government should answer the issues raised by the opposition. Apart from this, he said that all the opposition parties want Prime Minister Modi to be present in the House during the monsoon session and he should answer the issues raised by the opposition.

Those 8 issues which the opposition will raise in the house

1. Pahalgam terror attack: Pramod Tiwari said that the Pahalgam terror attack is connected with the honour of 140 crore Indians. In Pahalgam, the terrorists destroyed the vermilion of our mothers and sisters, where have all those terrorists gone? Has the earth eaten them up or has the sky eaten them up?
2. Operation Sindoor: Tiwari said that when Operation Sindoor is discussed, then ceasefire will definitely be discussed. When there was a conflict between India and Pakistan, why was ceasefire done? Apart from this, Trump claimed to have done ceasefire 24 times. Where did Trump come from between India and Pakistan? Why is the Prime Minister not speaking on this?
3. SIR in Bihar: Apart from this, questions will also be asked about the voter list revision in Bihar. The Congress MP said that after demonetisation, now vote ban is being brought in. He said that for the first time an undeclared emergency has been imposed in the country. The voting rights of the people are in danger.
4. Foreign policy: The opposition will raise questions on India’s foreign policy. In this, there will be talk on Gaza massacre, Pakistan and China.
5. Delimitation issue: Tiwari said that some leaders have asked to raise the issue of delimitation in the monsoon session.
6. Atrocities on SC, ST, women and minorities: There is a consensus on raising the issue of atrocities on SC, ST, women and minorities by the opposition in Parliament.
7. Ahmedabad plane crash: The opposition will also question the government in Parliament on the Ahmedabad plane crash.
8. Fighter plane: The opposition will seek answers from the government on the losses incurred during Operation Sindoor
