Liverpool manager Arne lot's search for striker looks to be finally ending with Premier League champions on the verge of signing Eintracht Frankfurt hitman Hugo Ekitike. Once a peripheral figure at Paris Saint-Germain, Hugo Ekitike has developed into one of the most promising young attackers in Europe during his time at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Initially joining the Bundesliga side on loan, he made a strong impression by scoring four goals in 14 appearances during the latter half of the 2023/24 season. He followed that up with a breakout campaign in 2024/25, netting 15 goals in the Bundesliga, four in the UEFA Europa League, and three in the DFB-Pokal.
