Bigg Boss 19 contestants often open up about their personal lives and struggles, and something similar unfolded on the show recently. Abhishek Bajaj , Baseer Ali , and Ashnoor Kaur had a heart-to-heart conversation. They shared personal stories about the tough choices they have had to make in their careers in the Bigg Boss 19 house.

Abhishek revealed he was once removed from a Telugu film because of his physique. “I am tall and have a good build, and I was supposed to do a parallel lead with a hero from a film family. But since I had a similar screen presence, he felt insecure, and I was removed at the very last moment,” he recalled.

Baseer spoke about giving up a major opportunity for the show, where he had to skip a film project involving Mahesh Babu to be in Mumbai for Bigg Boss 19. Ashnoor shared a similar story, revealing that she had left a Punjabi film for the reality show.

Abhishek and Ashnoor also discussed the differences between TV and OTT/films. They explained that TV requires being louder to grab attention, especially for women balancing work and household responsibilities, while OTT work is more subtle in its storytelling. Reflecting on his journey, Baseer said, “I initially used to run away from acting. I would do 1–2 reality shows a year and spend the rest of the time having fun and traveling. After my first show, I realized the importance of hustle. Once it ended, I felt I couldn’t stay idle — I needed work.”

Ashnoor spoke about her mother’s influence, calling her “my biggest critic.” She explained, “My mom knows my caliber. There were days when people on set would applaud my work, but when I went back to her, she would school me on how it could be done better. Her validation means a lot to me.” She got emotional recalling a film she did during lockdown, her first project without her mother’s guidance. “When she saw it, she loved it. That was one of the few times I had happy tears in my eyes,” she shared.
