The legal battle between popular chef Madhampatty Rangaraj and fashion designer Joy Crizildaa is intensifying in the Madras High Court . In the petition filed by Madhampatty Rangaraj , it is alleged that Joy Crizildaa has been posting videos on social media using his name in a defamatory manner. According to Filmibeat, the petition by Madhampatty Rangaraj also stated that the videos have caused great damage not only to him but also to his business company. Specifically, the company of which Madhampatty Rangaraj is a partner, argued in court that it had incurred a loss of Rs. 12.5 crore in just 15 days due to the videos published by Joy Crizildaa.

Madhampatty Rangaraj’s second marriage controversy with Joy Crizildaa

Madhampatty Rangaraj is a renowned chef and a notable Tamil actor.
Already married to Shruti and having two sons, news of his second marriage to Joy Crizildaa caused a stir. Meanwhile, Joy Crizildaa also filed a police complaint alleging that Madhampatty Rangaraj had cheated on her by marrying her, impregnating her, and posting wedding photos and private videos of the two on social media. All of this has now entered into court proceedings.

Madhampatty company accuses Joy Crizildaa of tarnishing its reputation and revenue

In the petition filed in this matter, it is alleged that Joy Crizildaa is damaging the name of the company by not only using the name Madhampatty Rangaraj, but also adding the name "Madhampatty", of which he is a shareholder. It was argued that this had affected the company's revenue and that if they wanted to make allegations against Rangaraj, only his personal name should be used. Meanwhile, Joy Crizildaa argued in court that the company was acting in her own defense. She also explained that she used that name because the public would not know if she just said "Rangaraj" without the name "Madhampatty".

Judge directs submission of proof on financial losses
After hearing arguments from both sides of the case, Judge N. Senthilkumar noted that a detailed investigation was required into the videos and comments posted by Joy Crizildaa. He also ordered the company to submit documents and evidence regarding its losses to the court. Meanwhile, the next hearing of the case was adjourned to September 24. As this case has shifted from a personal issue to a business one, there has been keen anticipation as to what the court's verdict will be.
