Raipur, 17 September 2025. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai launched 'Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 Pakhwada' from Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College campus in the capital Raipur on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. On this occasion, he flagged off the door-to-door garbage collection vehicles dedicated to cleanliness on behalf of Raipur Municipal Corporation and other urban bodies.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai himself took up the broom and cleaned the campus and gave a message of cleanliness to the people. He said that it is the common responsibility of all of us to keep the environment around him clear. In this fortnight, many programs will be organized in the entire state and active participation of citizens is necessary in it. He appealed to the youth, especially to join this campaign, because the awareness of cleanliness and self -motivation will bring positive changes in the society.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has always given priority to cleanliness and has set a big goal to make the country clean. We have to pursue this resolution and should fulfill our responsibilities with priority.

In the inaugural program, the Chief Minister visited different stalls set up by the Urban Administration Department. He interacted with women of self-help groups and inquired about their livelihood-based works. The Chief Minister also saw stalls of products made by Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0, CSPDCL, CREDA's PM Suryghar Free Power Scheme, waste collection and management models and self-help groups.
In the Cleanliness Hi Seva 2025 Pakhwada program, CM Vishnu Dev Sai encouraged women vendors under the 'Khushi Kahla' scheme. Also, UPI sound box devices were also provided to them to facilitate online transactions.
On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Arun Saw, MP Mr. Brijmohan Agrawal, MLA Mr. Rajesh Munat, MLA Mr. Sunil Soni, Mayor Mrs. Meenal Choubey and a large number of dignitaries and common people were present.
