What is the Dress Code?

Male candidates should wear full/half-sleeved shirts or T-shirts, kurtas, and pants to the exam center. Jeans are not permitted. Female candidates should wear salwar suits, dupattas, or saris.

What is the reporting time?

Candidates appearing for the exam should arrive at the examination center two hours before the exam begins. Entry will not be permitted if they are late or the gate is closed.

What should not be brought into the examination hall?

Candidates should not bring any type of watch, sunglasses, belt, handbag, hairpin, amulet, cap/hat, scarf, stole, shawl, muffler to the examination center. Candidates should not bring any pen, water bottle, purse, bag, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, slate/pad/cardboard, pen drive, eraser, log table, scanner, books, notebook, slips, whitener, mobile phone, Bluetooth, earphones, microphone and pager, any other communication device, slide rule, any type of weapon, etc. to the examination center.

Important Guidelines

• Candidates are required to carry their admit card to the 2025 examination center.
• Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam without their hall ticket.
• Candidates must carry one other ID proof along with their admit card.
• Candidates must bring valid ID proof such as Aadhaar card, driving license, PAN card with them to the examination center.
• Candidates should not carry any electronic devices into the examination hall.
• Candidates are not allowed to bring any rough paper, electrical devices, watches, or notebooks inside the examination hall.
• Candidates should ensure that the photo on their admit card is clear and visible. If not, contact SSC officials before the exam.
