On November 1, 2024, Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 starring Kartik Aaryan released on Diwali and became a big box office hit despite clashing with the much-bigger Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again starring Ajay Devgn in the lead role along with a massive ensemble of stars.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 made Rs 283.80 crore in India as compared to Singham Again’s Rs 268.35 crore.

Kartik Aaryan Celebrates One Year Of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 With Big Naagzilla Update

Taking to Instagram, Kartik Aaryan celebrated one year anniversary of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 while also confirming the shoot commencement of one of his biggest movies ever — the fantasy Naagzilla produced by Karan Johar where he will be seen playing the character of a 631-year-old ship shifting serpent.

Sharing the post, Kartik wrote, “1 Year of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 Day 1 of Naagzilla Har Har Mahadev 14th August 2026”.

Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba of Fukrey fame, Naagzilla “makers are yet to take the final call, but it’ll surely be a surprise that would cheer fans waiting for this one-of-a-kind film,” a source informed Bollywood Hungama.

Anees Bazmee Confirms Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 Starring Kartik Aaryan

The one year anniversary of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has turned out to be quite fruitful for Kartik Aaryan as besides starting the shoot of Naagzilla, the fourth instalment in the horror-comedy franchise is also confirmed by the director.

When asked if Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 is in the making, Anees Bazmee told the website, “Most definitely. It is work in progress. The love that the series has accrued over the years is unsurpassable. So yeah, it is happening. The only factor that I can confirm is Kartik.”

Besides Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4, Anees Bazmee also confirmed working on a couple of comedy movies with Kartik Aaryan, “Bachche ne kamaal ka kaam kiya. The world would have never known of his fabulous comic timing if it wasn’t for Bhool Bhulaiyaa. I am planning a couple of comedies with Kartik.”

On being asked if Madhuri Dixit and Vidya Balan make a comeback to Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 after their much-loved banter in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Bazmee replied, “It could! On the other hand, we may have some other actress who has never been part of the franchise before.”
