Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati herself took the monthly meeting of the district level ‘Backward Class Society Brotherhood Organization’ of Uttar Pradesh State on Saturday to increase the lost support base of the party. He reviewed the guidelines given in the last few months to include OBC community in BSP. Also took district wise progress report. In view of the importance of the Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists being conducted by the Election Commission in 12 states and union territories of the country including Uttar Pradesh, instructions were given to complete and get the work done promptly and intelligently as per the guidelines of the Election Commission.
He said that BSP is an Ambedkarite party dedicated to the welfare and welfare of the poor, labourers, small traders and other working people of the entire society and the exploited and deprived Dalits, tribals, other backward classes and Muslims and other religious minority Bahujans under the Bahujan Samaj. Here, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar’s humanitarian and welfare constitution is dedicated and continuously struggling to stand on its own feet by getting the master key of power through the power of the democratic right of its votes, in which every person’s vote has a very important role.
That is why it is very important for all the eligible people to get their name in the voter list and get their voter card made to fulfill their constitutional responsibility of voting in the elections and achieve their goal. Its objective is to ensure that there is no relaxation in the seriousness of the party in the task of expanding the party’s support base by fully connecting the Other Backward Classes with the BSP. OBC community is a particularly important part of the Bahujan Samaj and their interests are vested and protected in the BSP only, this is obvious and is also proved by the policies and activities of the four BSP governments in UP, when honest efforts were made to ensure the living of every caste belonging to other backward classes with self-respect and livelihood, while other parties do not do any concrete work only for the selfishness of their votes. Rather, most of the time they just keep talking and making statements. The attitude of parties like Congress, SP and BJP etc. regarding their constitutional rights to the OBC community and their reservation in government jobs and education has always been narrow, casteist and malicious.
Mayawati ji said that due to the disintegration and dispersion of different castes of the OBC community and some of them forming separate parties and organizations, their unity and solidarity is affected and casteist parties often take advantage of this, especially in elections, whereas BSP is trying to work for the benefit, welfare and freedom from exploitation, injustice and oppression etc. of these Bahujan people, who have been broken, defeated and persecuted on the basis of caste for centuries, by uniting them in the unity of ‘Bahujan Samaj’. Also, in this meeting, with the aim of removing various types of misconceptions being spread about BAMCEF, he also told that BAMCEF is not a political organization or party. Rather, it is a social organization of educated employees, whose main work is to create social consciousness among the people of Bahujan community as per their convenience. First of all this organization (BAMCEF) was established by Honorable Kanshi Ram which is not registered. And it is to people of BSP family. And this is also their real BAMCEF.
People of this organization keep fulfilling their responsibility by meeting me and the people of BSP family from time to time. He also told that the unregistered BAMCEF is the original and real BAMCEF of Honorable Kanshi Ram and the registered BAMCEF belongs to the selfish and opportunistic people to whom Honorable Kanshiram had advised to always remain alert while he was alive.
In this meeting, he also told that the upper caste community in UP has become a very politically aware society and no need has been felt to form a separate fraternal organization to integrate them into the BSP.
