Increase in uric acid has become a common health problem today. It occurs due to imbalance of uric acid in the body and if ignored in time, it can lead to gout, joint pain and other serious problems. Experts say that some symptoms of increased uric acid are visible especially at night. It is very important to identify these and get timely treatment.

1. Severe pain in joints:
The most common symptom of increased uric acid is severe joint pain at night. Sudden pain may occur especially in toes, knees and ankles. The pain is often so intense that even sleep can be difficult.

2. Redness and swelling:
Swelling and redness in joints at night is also a sign of increased uric acid. The affected area feels hot and sensitive. These early symptoms point towards gout attack.

3. Stiffness and difficulty in walking:
Due to increase in uric acid, stiffness is felt in the joints. It increases especially in the morning or at night. The person may face discomfort in walking or doing normal activities.

4. Sudden fatigue and restlessness:
Problems like sudden fatigue, restlessness or insomnia at night can be a sign of increased uric acid. This sign is often caused by the accumulation of microscopic crystals in the body, which causes inflammation in the joints and muscles.

Experts say that ignoring the problem of increasing uric acid can be dangerous. Without treatment, this problem continues to progress and can lead to gout attacks, kidney stones and metabolic problems.

Prevention and treatment:

Reduce the intake of alcohol, fried and high protein foods.

Drink enough water so that uric acid levels remain under control.

Include green vegetables, fruits and fiber rich diet.
