The educational qualifications for the NABARD Grade A positions differ based on the service. For general roles in the Rural Development Banking Service (RDBS), candidates must hold a graduate degree in any discipline, with a minimum of 60% marks for general candidates and 55% for those in reserved categories.
Specialist roles require either a graduate or postgraduate degree in relevant fields such as agriculture, finance, computer science, or civil engineering. Legal service roles necessitate an LLB or LLM degree, while positions in protocol and security services require prior experience as an officer in the Army, Navy, Air Force, or paramilitary forces.
Applicants must be aged between 21 and 30 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories according to government regulations, with OBC candidates receiving a 3-year extension, SC/ST candidates getting 5 years, and individuals with disabilities eligible for up to 15 years.
