Real Time Translation of Language: Apple has once again proved that it is not just a tech company but is synonymous with innovation. This time the company has introduced such a feature which will completely break the language barrier. Now your iPhone will translate the conversation in real-time during a phone call. Meaning, if someone is talking to you in another language, your iPhone will immediately convert it into the language of your choice.
Apple has added a feature called “Live Call Translation” in its latest iOS update. This feature understands and translates the conversation on both sides of the call in real-time with the help of AI and machine learning technology. For example, if the other person is talking in French, the iPhone will instantly convert his/her voice into your language like Hindi or English.
This feature does not require any third-party app, as it will be inbuilt in the call interface of the iPhone. The user will only have to choose his own and the other person’s language, the AI will do the rest automatically.
Initially this feature will be available in select languages, which include English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese and Hindi. Apple says that more languages will be added in upcoming updates so that users can communicate without language barriers in any corner of the world.
This feature of Apple is not only a convenience but a revolutionary step towards global communication. This will work to bring people around the world closer and erase language boundaries. Now whether your friend is in the US or Japan, your iPhone will speak “Talking to you in your language.”
