Dehradun: The Congress party has made a major change in its Uttarakhand unit to bring new energy and unity ahead of upcoming elections. Ganesh Godiyal has been appointed the new President of the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC). This decision was announced by AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal through a press release on Tuesday.
Along with this, two senior leaders have been given important responsibilities. Pritam Singh, who is a former state president, has been made the Chairman of the Campaign Committee. Dr. Harak Singh Rawat, a former cabinet minister, will now lead the Election Management Committee. These appointments are seen as a step to bring experienced leaders into key roles.

The Congress party has also made changes at the national level. Karan Mahara, the outgoing state president, has been made a special invitee member of the Congress Working Committee (CWC). The party thanked him for his work and contribution during his term.
Another big change is the appointment of Manoj Yadav as the new in-charge of Uttarakhand Congress. He will now guide the party’s work in the state and help in planning future strategies.

Bhupendra Singh Bhoj from Almora, Arjun Chandra Bhatt from Bageshwar, Dr. Jaswinder Singh Gogi from Dehradun City, Baleshwar Singh from Haridwar, Kuldeep Kandhari from Rudraprayag, Murari Lal Khandwal from Tehri
