Actor Govinda who was recently rushed to the hospital after losing consciousness has confirmed to his fans that he is doing well. The 61-year-old actor known for his infectious energy and iconic dance moves was admitted to Criticare Asia Multispeciality Hospital in Juhu earlier today leaving his fans and fraternity concerned about his health.
Health Update from the Actor
Addressing his well-wishers through a brief voice note Govinda said “Thank you so much… I am fine.” His calm assurance gave a sigh of relief to his fans and admirers.
According to reports the actor’s manager Shashi Sinha confirmed that Govinda was conscious and under observation. “The doctors are expected to review his condition in the afternoon after which further decisions will be taken. Govinda’s medical tests are still ongoing” Sinha said.
What Happened to Govinda?
Govindas hospitalisation news came shortly after he visited veteran actor Dharmendra who was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai earlier in the week. Sources suggest that Govinda was among several Bollywood celebrities who stopped by to check on the legendary star.
However soon after that visit news broke of Govinda’s own health scare leading to widespread speculation. As of now doctors have not disclosed the exact cause of his hospitalisation and further details about his condition are awaited.
