As soon as winter arrives, roses and marigold flowers blooming in the garden enhance the beauty of any house. But sometimes no matter how hard you try, neither buds nor flowers bloom on the plant. If the plants look withered even after weeks of care, then the mind becomes sad.

In such a situation, there is a need to understand that the reason for the absence of flowers may not be care, but lack of nutrition. Plants require nitrogen, phosphorus and potash, which play an important role in the development of buds and increasing the size of flowers. Today we are going to tell you an easy and natural method by which your entire garden will be filled with flowers by December.

Why are roses and marigolds not blooming? Know the real reason

Many gardeners believe that if plants get sunlight, water and timely fertilizer, they start flowering on their own. But the truth is that due to lack of phosphorus in the soil, bud formation stops. Deficiency of potash reduces the size of flowers. By giving too much nitrogen, the leaves of the plant become dense, but the flowers appear less. Apart from this, plants also become weak due to constant watering, lack of sunlight or very cold winds. But the matter of relief is that the solution to all this is hidden in your kitchen itself – mustard cake and banana peel powder.

Mustard cake: the most effective fertilizer for winter flowers

Mustard Cake is a very effective organic fertilizer which not only increases the number of flowers in plants but also maintains the fertility of the soil. It contains nitrogen, phosphorus, calcium and potassium in abundance, which make the plants strong from within. Make liquid fertilizer from mustard cake like this. Take 100 grams of mustard cake. Soak it in 1 liter water for 4–5 days. Stir the solution well every day so that the cake can ferment. When the solution starts giving off a slight smell, then understand that it is ready. Now mix this solution 10 times in plain water. Add this mixture to the plant soil once every 15 days.

banana peel powder

  • Dry ripe banana peels in the sun for two to three days.
  • When the peels are completely dry, grind them finely in the mixer.
  • Now this powder is ready, which you can keep in an airtight container.

of using

  • Lightly hoe the soil of the plant.
  • Sprinkle one teaspoon banana peel powder all around.
  • After this add some water so that the nutrients can reach the roots.
  • Repeat this once every month.
  • This powder increases the amount of potassium in the soil of plants, due to which the number of buds increases and the size of flowers increases.

How to use both fertilizers together?

If you want your rose and marigold plants to be filled with buds by December, use mustard cake and banana peel powder together but at different times. Apply liquid fertilizer of mustard cake once every 15 days. Mix banana peel powder once a month. Do not pour directly into the roots of the plant, pour a little away from the stem. After applying fertilizer, add water so that the nutrients reach the roots easily. With regular use of these two fertilizers, your plants will not only look green, but by December the entire garden will be fragrant with the blossoming of flowers.

Why home fertilizer is better

Chemical fertilizers give immediate results to plants, but weaken the soil in the long run. Whereas organic fertilizers (such as mustard cake and banana peel powder) retain soil moisture, activate microbes in the soil, strengthen plant roots, and increase the color, size, and number of flowers. That means, if you want your garden to bloom in a sustainable and natural way, then there is nothing better than these home fertilizers.

Garden will bloom in December

If you start this remedy now in the first week of November, by mid-December your plants like roses, marigolds, daisies, hibiscus, and petunia will start showing abundant buds. The leaves of the plants will also be shiny and dark green in color. This recipe will not only decorate the garden, but will also make you realize that the fragrance of flowers grown with your own hands is different from all others.
