The cheapest Airtel Xstream fiber plan starts at ₹499 per month. It offers 40 Mbps speed and unlimited data. This plan also includes additional benefits like Perplexity Pro AI and Google One subscription.
Airtel’s Rs 699 plan offers more benefits, including access to Jio Hotstar, Zee5 Premium, Airtel Xstream, Google One (100GB cloud storage) and Perplexity Pro AI. This plan also comes with 40 Mbps speed and unlimited data.

On the other hand, JioFiber’s entry-level broadband plan is Rs 399 per month, which offers 30 Mbps speed and unlimited data. However, this basic plan does not include access to any OTT platform.
If you want higher speed, you can opt for the Rs 699 plan, which offers 100 Mbps speed and unlimited data (valid for 30 days). Meanwhile, the company’s Rs 999 plan offers 150 Mbps speed and unlimited data.
BSNL
State-owned BSNL Bharat Fiber also offers affordable broadband plans for both urban and rural users. One of their popular plans is Rs 449 per month, which offers 30 Mbps speed and unlimited data.
BSNL has two budget plans for new users – Rs 249 and Rs 299 per month – which offer 10GB and 20GB data respectively. Both offer 25 Mbps speed and are only available for first-time users. BSNL has a Rs 399 plan with 40 Mbps speed and 1,400 GB data cap, especially for rural areas.
Of the three, Jio’s entry-level plan at Rs 399 is the cheapest. Airtel’s Rs 499 base plan is a bit expensive but offers faster speeds and additional benefits. Meanwhile, BSNL is a reliable option for rural users, offering wide coverage and affordable plans specially designed for low data users.
