Since the time of our grandmothers, millet flour has been considered very beneficial for health in winters. Eating millet laddu daily will not only keep your body warm, but will also strengthen your immunity. To make Bajra Laddu, you need 200 grams of bajra flour, one cup of jaggery, half cup of pure ghee, 10 cashew nuts and almonds, two teaspoons of gum, two teaspoons of dry gum and half teaspoon cardamom powder.
Method to make Bajra Laddu: Grate dry coconut and cut cashew-almonds into small pieces. Heat ghee in a pan and fry the gum. When the gum swells, take it out in a plate. In the same pan, fry cashews and almonds, then add grated coconut. Rub the cooled glue against the surface of a bowl.
Follow these steps: Add ghee in a pan. Now fry the millet flour on low flame till it changes color. When aroma appears, turn off the flame. Then, add jaggery pieces to the pan and melt on low flame. Keep stirring the jaggery continuously. After switching off the flame, add millet flour, roasted dry fruits, grated coconut, cardamom powder and ground gum to the melted jaggery.
Enjoy laddus in winter: When the mixture is lukewarm, apply ghee on your hands and make laddus. You can enjoy these nutritious millet laddus in winters. These can be kept in any airtight container. These delicious millet laddus can also be beneficial for your health. However, for best results, consume them in limited quantities.
