On the eve of Birsa Munda's birth anniversary, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid heartfelt tribute to the revered leader. In a post shared on 'X' on Friday, he expressed, "Greetings to my esteemed fellow citizens of the state, Jai Johar! The life of 'Dharti Aaba' Bhagwan Birsa Munda serves as an inspiration for awakening respect, equality, and self-esteem among the people."

He further extended his profound respects on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of the great freedom fighter, wishing the people of the state a happy 'Tribal Pride Day.'

Birsa Munda was born on November 15, 1875, in Jharkhand and led a tribal uprising against British colonial rule. He passed away while in custody at the young age of twenty-five.
