According to media reports, Kia is gearing up to introduce the new generation Kia Seltos. The SUV will be launched globally next month. The car will be unveiled at an event in Korea on December 10.

Currently, the first generation Kia seltos is available for sale in many countries around the world including India. The upcoming new generation SUV will undergo several changes. It will get major changes in the exterior, which will make it look like a new SUV. It may include vertical LED DRLs, new front grille, new bumper and fog lamps. There will also be many changes in the interior of the car.
The new Kia Seltos will get six airbags, electronic stability control, electronic parking brake, 360-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS system. The current model’s three-star NCAP rating is expected to increase to five stars in the new generation.

The new Kia Seltos will once again be available with three engine options. 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. Gearbox options will include 6-speed manual, 6-speed torque converter automatic, 6-speed iMT, CVT and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Also, there is talk of launching a hybrid version of this SUV in the international market.
The new generation Kia Seltos is likely to be priced between Rs 11.30 lakh and Rs 22 lakh (ex-showroom).
