The film brings back Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh as Ashish Mehra and Ayesha Khurana, continuing their unlikely age-gap romance that first won audiences over in 2019.
De De Pyaar De 2 cast feesAccording to reports, Ajay Devgn has emerged as the highest-paid actor in the film. The superstar, who reprises his role as Ashish, has reportedly charged a massive Rs 40 crore. His presence has been positioned as the central commercial anchor of the sequel, especially as the story once again revolves around Ashish attempting to impress Ayesha’s family while navigating awkward and humorous situations born from their age difference.
Rakul Preet Singh, who plays Ayesha Khurana, has been paid Rs 4.5 crore for the film. Her character’s journey carries forward from the first instalment, with her chemistry with Ajay Devgn expected to be one of the sequel’s key highlights.

Other cast members have also taken home sizeable paycheques. Jaaved Jaaferi, noted for his humour and screen presence, has reportedly charged between Rs 2- 3 crore. Gautami Kapoor, who features in an important supporting role, has received Rs 1 crore.
