Gum- 100 grams
Wheat flour- 250 grams
Desi Ghee – about 300 grams
Bura or powdered sugar – 250 grams
Nuts (almonds, cashews) – 100 grams
Coconut shavings – 50 grams
Cardamom powder- 1 tsp
To make gum laddus, first heat about 200 grams of ghee in a pan. Now add the gum little by little into the ghee.
When the gum swells and turns light golden, take it out and keep it in a plate. When it cools down, grind it coarsely with the help of a rolling pin or bowl.
Now add remaining approximately 100 grams of ghee in the same pan. After this, add wheat flour and start frying on low flame.
Keep stirring the flour continuously, until its color turns light golden and a nice aroma starts coming from it.
Now take out the roasted flour in a big plate or vessel.
After this, fry chopped almonds and cashews in a pan until they become light golden.
Fry the coconut shavings lightly.
Now add roasted flour, crushed gum, roasted nuts and Cardamom Mix the powder well.
When the mixture is slightly hot, add sugar or powdered sugar to it and mix completely.
Keep in mind that if the mixture is too hot the sugar will melt.
Take small portions of the prepared mixture in your hands and press them gently to make round laddus.
