Noreen Niazi, sister of jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan, said on Thursday that Pakistan is going through its worst phase. Not only this, Naureen said that Pakistan is facing oppression like the Hitler era, where citizens are being killed, beaten and jailed without any accountability. Noreen Niazi called Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir a 'dictator' and described Shehbaz Sharif's government as the most 'unpopular' government in the country's history. He said that the current government is forcing Imran Khan to leave the country.

He said that Pakistan is going through its worst phase. We used to read stories of tyrants. Now we are going through a tyrannical period. People are being kidnapped and killed. I met a young man in Peshawar, on 26 November last year he was shot in the head, he was paralyzed, his body was destroyed. There are countless such cases.

Comparison with Hitler's regime

He said that sometimes I think that the stories we heard were from Hitler's era. Now the way people were dragged into the basements is being repeated here. Noreen's brother, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) patriarch Imran Khan, is in jail since August 2023 in multiple cases.

Ban on meeting Imran

The government has imposed an undeclared ban on meeting him for more than a month. Noreen Niazi and Imran Khan's other sisters, Alima Khan and Dr Uzma Khan, are camping outside Adiala jail along with other Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members after being denied access to them for a month. He was allegedly attacked by Pakistan's Punjab Police last week.

Noreen spoke on rumors

He said that we have been going there for the last four weeks, and they are not allowing us to meet them. That is why such rumors are spreading (that he has been killed). When asked about the action taken against her, Noreen called the police on their misbehavior. He said that, for the first time in Pakistan they do not care whether he is a child, or an elderly person – nothing. Citizens are fed up with the government and Imran Khan's imprisonment, and even the smallest thing can trigger widespread protests.

Government does not have public support

He said that I think just one spark is enough, then even they will not know to what extent people will go. The harassment is too much. People are coming out and they will keep coming out. Even today people are sitting there. We were also there till midnight on Tuesday. I think just one spark is enough - then even they will not know to what extent people will go. Niazi said. They are very unpopular people. He has no public support.

support of powerful forces

Imran Khan's strength is public support, people from all backgrounds stand with him. No one is standing with this government. People are angry and fed up. When you oppress your own people, they will never support you. Niazi said that Shehbaz Sharif's stance is largely supported by powerful forces behind the scenes, and he believes that this is the reason why the current system in Pakistan continues despite public dissatisfaction.

voice against oppression

They stole everything, that's why they are weak and the weaker they are, the more force they use. They have the support of foreign powers. He expressed disappointment at the international community, saying that foreign powers know about human rights violations but do not want to take action. He said that Pakistanis abroad have a voice and freedom that those living inside the country do not have, and they should use it to raise their voice against oppression.
