New Delhi. A shocking news has come out from Alwar, Rajasthan. Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) scientist and Mysore Unit Joint Director Aditya Verma was found dead suddenly under mysterious circumstances, two days after his own wedding. They were married on 25 November, and on the morning of 27 November he was found unconscious in the bathroom of his home. The family immediately took him to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead. This incident raises many questions - how did a completely healthy looking young scientist suddenly collapse in the bathroom? Was it just an accident or is there some hidden reason behind it? Police and FSL team are currently investigating it.
Aditya Verma was married on 25th November and his wife came home for the first time on 26th November. According to the family, Aditya had gone to the toilet at around 5.30 am on November 27. When he did not come out till around 6 o'clock, his mother became suspicious. The family knocked on the door, but no sound came from inside. Finally the family members broke the door and saw Aditya lying unconscious in the bathroom. He was immediately taken to the hospital, but his life could not be saved.
Assistant Sub Inspector Samay Khan of Shivaji Park Police Station, Alwar said that the bathroom was locked from inside. Initially the case does not seem suspicious, but the exact cause of death will be known only by postmortem and FSL report. The postmortem has been completed and the viscera has been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory. So far no allegations have been made against anyone by the family.
This incident in Alwar reminds some people of another death that took place in October. At that time, DRDO officer Akashdeep Gupta in Lucknow suddenly fell ill and died. Only six months had passed since their marriage. Although Akashdeep's death was due to medical reasons and his family has denied any foul play, the death of two DRDO officers within a short span of time has raised questions in the minds of many.
Medical jurist Prem Saini said that until the FSL report comes, nothing definite can be said about the cause of death. This report will tell whether any toxic or other chemicals were present in the body or whether the death was completely natural. The sudden death of DRDO scientist Aditya Verma is surrounded by mystery. The wedding, the homecoming, and then suddenly falling into the bathroom – all this raises many questions in itself. Police investigation is ongoing and now all eyes are on the FSL report.
