On Friday, P. Narayana, the Urban Development Minister of Andhra Pradesh, announced that the Cabinet has approved the second phase of land pooling aimed at expanding the Greenfield capital city of Amaravati, which will encompass over 16,000 acres.
This initiative includes the construction of an 'Inner Ring Road', railway infrastructure, and the development of an international sports city.
Following the Cabinet meeting, Narayana informed reporters that the second phase of land pooling is designed to facilitate the creation of an Inner Ring Road (IRR) around Amaravati, establish a railway station, lay down railway tracks, and develop an international sports city.
He further elaborated, "The Cabinet has sanctioned additional land pooling for the expansion of Amaravati. Under this second phase, land will be pooled from seven villages."
