The CLAT 2026 exam will be held on December 7, 2025. The exam consists of 120 MCQ questions. The exam center for some candidates in Lucknow has been changed. Candidates who were previously assigned to Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Government Girls Postgraduate College, Sector 11, Rajajipuram, near New Taxi Stand, Lucknow, have now been assigned a new exam center.
These candidates will now be examined at Lucknow Public College, A-Block, Rajajipuram, Lucknow 226017. The Consortium of NLUs has clearly stated that students whose centers have been changed will not be able to appear for the exam using their old admit cards. It will be mandatory for all concerned candidates to download the new revised admit card.

Changes in the SC-TL category, opportunity to update by December 1
Another important information related to CLAT 2026 has been released regarding reservation categories. The seat matrix at NALSAR, Hyderabad, has been changed, specifically for SC-TL category candidates. The SC-TL category has now been divided into three sub-groups—SC-TL (Group I), SC-TL (Group II), and SC-TL (Group III). This change will apply to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Candidates who have applied under the SC-TL category are advised to carefully read the document related to the Telangana State Scheduled Caste Reservation Rationalization Act. This document is available on the website consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Based on this, candidates can determine which category they fall under.
The Consortium has also clarified that candidates applying under the SC-TL category can update their reservation category until 11:59 pm on December 1, 2025. No amendments will be accepted after this time.
