The Maharashtra Police Recruitment 2025 program has announced a total of 15,631 job openings, which include:



  • 12,399 positions for police constables

  • 234 positions for police constable drivers

  • 580 positions for jail constables

  • 2,393 positions for SRPF constables

  • 25 positions for police bandmen


Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for these positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:



  • Hold a 12th-grade certificate from a recognized board

  • Be between 18 and 28 years of age

  • Be an Indian citizen


Additionally, candidates must successfully complete the physical standards and fitness tests established by the Maharashtra Police. The selection process will begin with a Physical Efficiency Test (PET/PST), followed by a written examination. For specific roles, such as drivers, a skill or driving test will also be required.   • ₹450 for general and unreserved category candidates

  • ₹350 for reserved category candidates
