Winter season is going on and in such a situation it is very important for all of us to strengthen our immunity and the best way to do this is by eating right. It is very good to eat Chyawanprash in cold weather because it makes us strong from inside. Chyawanprash available in the market may be adulterated. You can make very good Chyawanprash at home in a more pure and nutritious way and without chemicals compared to the market. Today we will tell you the recipe for making Chyawanprash at home.

Material

Amla – 1 kg
Desi Ghee – 200 grams
Jaggery or black/solid sugar – 1.2 to 1.5 kg
Honey – 200 grams
Fresh ginger juice – 2 tbsp
Sesame oil – 100 ml
Cinnamon – 10 grams
Small cardamom – 10 grams
Big cardamom – 10 grams
Nagkesar – 5 grams
Pippali (long pepper) – 10 grams
Clove – 5 grams
Black pepper – 5 grams
Ashwagandha – 20 grams
Asparagus – 20 grams
Vidarikand – 20 grams
Mulethi – 10 grams
Dry Ginger (Saunth) – 10 grams

Method

  1. First of all, wash the Indian gooseberry and chop it lightly. Boil them in about one liter of water on low flame until the gooseberries become soft. Take out the seeds and grind the Indian gooseberry in a mixer to make a smooth paste.
  2. Lightly fry all the above spices and make a fine powder. put aside.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a large pan or wok. Add Amla paste to it and fry it on low flame while stirring continuously. When the mixture becomes thick and shiny, add ghee.
  4. Melt jaggery in another vessel by adding some water. Filter it and add it to the amla mixture. Keep stirring on low flame until the mixture becomes like jam.
  5. Now add prepared masala powder and mix well. Keep the flame very low and cook while stirring for 7-10 minutes.
  6. Turn off the gas and let the mixture cool completely. Add honey only when it cools completely. Keep Chyawanprash in a glass jar. No need to refrigerate, will last comfortably for 3–6 months at room temperature.

eat this chyawanprash

For adults – 1–2 teaspoons morning and night with lukewarm milk or water.
For children: ½–1 teaspoon (do not give to children under 1 year).
