Sshamali De, Raj Nidimoru’s ex-wife has been sharing cryptic posts as of late on her social media. On his wedding day with Samantha Ruth Prabhu on December 1, 2025, she shared a quote about desperate people and previously, she had shared another message.

“Through the bond of past debts (runānubandha), one becomes connected with pets, spouse, children, and home… When those karmic debts are exhausted, those relationships come to an end."

Now, a close friend of De is claiming that she is still married to The Family Man creator. Her friend, Bhavna Tapadia, reported the image with the caption, “To all those who are asking me… last time I checked she was still married and the last time was NOW."

Raj Nidimoru and Sshyamali De had gotten a divorce in 2022, but this claim by her friend makes things a lot more complicated than initially perceived. Moreover, Nidimoru was last seen on De’s Instagram in 2023 on Valentine’s Day. The post also had a loving message for her former husband.

Samantha and Nidimoru had also reportedly started getting close in 2023. Although neither De nor the filmmaker has said anything about their separation or divorce, this comes as a shocking and unexpected claim.
