Lucknow. Yogi Government of UP has issued an important order for the state employees, under which all the government officers and employees of the state will have to register the details of their movable and immovable property on the Manav Sampada Portal from time to time. This order has been given under the rules of Employees’ Conduct Rules, 1956.

According to the order issued by UP Chief Secretary SP Goyal, all government officers and employees, including employees of autonomous institutions, corporations and undertakings of the state government. They will have to submit details of their assets on the Manav Sampada Portal by 31 December 2025. The facility to submit property details on the portal will be activated from January 1, 2026. If an employee does not submit his asset details on the portal by 1 February 2026, his promotion will not be considered.

UP Chief Secretary SP Goyal said that disciplinary action will be taken against the employees who do not follow the rules, which will be under the Employees Conduct Rules, 1999 of the Uttar Pradesh Government. Those departments or personnel who were already given exemption to submit property details, that exemption will continue till further orders.

Chief Secretary SP Goyal said that this step of the government has been taken to promote transparency and honesty. This will provide accurate information about the assets of government employees and will help in curbing corruption. This system will ensure better administrative control in the state.

To whom will this order apply?

UP Chief Secretary SP Goyal said that this order will be applicable to all government officers, employees, employees of autonomous institutions, corporations, undertakings of the state. Besides, all the concerned officers like Chief Secretary, Secretaries of various departments, Director General of Police, Secretary of Public Service Commission etc. have been entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring compliance with this instruction. This order issued by the Uttar Pradesh government is a new dimension of responsibility for the employees. All government officers and employees should register their property details on time on Manav Sampada Portal so that they can avail their promotions and other administrative benefits while following the government rules. This step is being considered an important step towards corruption free administration.
