I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! winner Sam Thompson has admitted he would love to host Strictly Come Dancing with his best mate Pete Wicks, but he doesn't think it is going to happen. The 33-year-old Londoner and 37-year-old Pete have worked together on many projects including a podcast. However Sam doesn't think they will be getting a call for Strictly, despite the fact Pete was a contestant on the show in 2024.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk he was asked if he and Pete would be interested in replacing departing hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly and in doing so giving the show it's first all male presenting duo. "It would be interesting. I think we actually would be alright at that. Obviously it is an amazing show. It would be an absolute honour. Would we do it? I don't think the call will be coming anytime soon," he laughed.

Irregardless Sam has plenty to keep him busy for the foreseeable future. He is hugely excited about his new ITV hidden camera prank show Celebrity Sabotage which launches early in 2026.

"It's me, GK, Barry, Judy Love and Joel Dommett and it is so much fun," he enthused.

He is also one of the celebrities taking on the Gladiators in a Christmas Day special which also see Joe Wicks, Nicola Adams and Vogue Williams hoping to emerge victorious.

Thinking ahead he admitted he also wants to spend next year really building the production company he owns with Pete, Staying Relevant Productions, named after their podcast.

"We want the business side of us to really grow next year. So as well as doing, the TV shows which are going to be coming out next year it's so important to us to the company, so that's going to be a big part of next year," he revealed.

Prior to that he has been kept busy in recent weeks celebrating the unsung heroes of Christmas, and of course Pete popped along to help out.

Coca Cola had asked people to nominate their Christmas Maker - the people who make the season truly special for others. Every Christmas maker nominated supported Coca-Cola's festive donation to food charity FareShare - in addition to the 1 million meals they already fund. Launching the initiative Sam surprised excited members of the public at Spitalfields, London, with his 'Free Thank Yous' station as he invited passers-by to nominate their special Christmas Maker.

Sam admitted the campaign had make him think as he realised he hadn't thanked his own christmas Maker, his mum, nearly enough. "I've said thank you to my mum a million times. But I don't think I've actually said: 'Thank you so much. You always make Christmas such a beautiful time. And I think that's what people really, really enjoy doing. Thanking these people."
