Recently, during a conversation with the media, Shilpa Shinde shared her opinion about Shubhangi Atre. She told that even when she had left the show, she had praised Shubhangi's work as an actress. He also said that doing comedy is not everyone's cup of tea.
Shilpa Shinde said, "See, as an actor, I had also said at the time when the controversy was going on, very clearly that Shubhangi has done a good job, she is a good actress, but comedy is not everyone's cup of tea. It is not easy to step into a role which has been developed by someone else. And then to copy someone, that is very difficult, there is a lot of pressure."
Shilpa also told that if Shubhangi Atre had played a character which she had been playing since the beginning, she would have got more popularity. He said, "Look today, no matter how much I think of copying an actress, she gets copied. No matter how well I act."
At the same time, in an old interview, Shubhangi Atre had told that she wants to end this game of replacement. She had said, "I just want to say that I am now ending this game of replacement. I told my mother that when Shilpa left the show in nine-ten months, it felt as if she had handed me a newborn child."
