A shocking and sensational case has come to light from Gopalganj in Bihar, which has forced not only the police but the entire society to think. A groom did 3 marriages in 3 years. She also had two children during this period. But for three years none of the wives had even a clue about their step-daughter. When the truth came out, the matter directly reached the police station and now the accused husband is behind bars.

This whole matter is of Gauroop Sameel village of Mirganj police station area. Pintu Baranwal, resident of the same village, married three times one after the other without divorcing. The first marriage took place in the year 2022 according to Hindu customs. First wife Khushboo Kumari alias Amrita alleges that her father had given 20 grams of gold, several tola silver and about Rs 3 lakh in cash during the marriage. Despite this, the husband continued to harass her mentally and physically, demanding Rs 5 lakh and a car.

First wife Khushboo has also alleged that on the very first night of their marriage, her husband tried to make an objectionable video of her while forcibly having sex. Regarding this matter, she lodged an FIR in Mirganj police station under serious sections like dowry harassment and forced relationship.

The second wife is Gudiya Kumari, who is a resident of Goriya Kothi in Siwan district. She says that she was married to Pintu Baranwal in April 2024. At the time of marriage, they were not told at all that Pintu was already married. After some time, when Gudiya came to know the truth, the ground slipped beneath her feet. Gudiya alleges that Pintu got married for the third time without divorcing her.

The three brides did not know about this action of their husband.

Now both the wives allege that Pintu has married a girl from Saran district for the third time, who has now become the mother of his child. The surprising thing is that even the third wife was not given any information about Pintu's first and second marriage.

As soon as the information was received, two wives reached the police station, after which the Mirganj police station came into action after the written complaint of both the wives. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the police arrested the accused husband Pintu Baranwal. Then after appearing in the court, he was sent to jail in judicial custody.

'Did not find perfect wife, hence married three times'

Accused husband Pintu Baranwal gave his plea after the arrest and he surprised everyone. She says that getting married was her compulsion. He did not find the qualities he wanted in a woman, so he married second and third. Pintu also claims that he married without dowry and both his wives are making false allegations. Not only this, he also alleged that his wives used to attack him with knives and did not even cook food for his mother.

At present the police is busy investigating the entire matter. Serious allegations like dowry harassment, second and third marriage without divorce, forced relations etc. are being legally investigated. During the telephonic conversation, police officials said that further action would be taken on the basis of investigation. However, this case raises serious questions on trust in relationships, ignorance of the law and women's rights. Now all eyes are on the court's decision to see which way the scale of justice tilts in this case of three marriages and serious allegations.
