Ram Mandir And Hanuman Garhi Ayodhya: Ayodhya is the city of Lord Shri Ram. Lord Shri Ram was born in this holy city in Tretayuga. He spent his childhood here. From here Lord Shri Ram, Sita Mata and Lakshman went into exile for 14 years. After conquering Lanka, he became King Ram. Ayodhya city is situated on the banks of Saryu river. It is one of the seven holy pilgrimage sites of Hindus (called Saptapuri). Since the construction of Ramlala temple here, there has been a sharp increase in the number of tourists. Actually, the construction work of Ram temple in Ayodhya started on 5 August 2020. Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed Bhoomi Pujan. At a short distance from the Ram temple, there is a temple dedicated to Pawanputra Hanuman. It is called Hanuman Garhi.

How to reach Ayodhya?

This grand Ram city of Uttar Pradesh is connected to major cities of the country by air, rail and road. This place can be easily reached through all three means. If you want to come to Ayodhya by air from Delhi, Bihar or any other state, then there is Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, which is well connected with direct flight services from big cities of the country.

After landing here, you can take a short taxi or cab and go directly to the temple for darshan of Lord Shri Ram. It is easy to reach Ayodhya by road also. It is about 715 kilometers away from Delhi. To come here you can easily take a bus from Delhi. To come here by train, one will have to get down at major railway stations of Faizabad and Ayodhya districts.

How to reach Ram Temple and Hanumangarhi?

After coming to Ayodhya, it is very easy to reach the temple. Local means of transport like auto rickshaw and cycle rickshaw are easily available in Ayodhya. The holy Ram temple is situated on the banks of river Saryu. Hanumangarhi temple is at a short distance from Ram temple. Hanumangarhi temple is situated on a high hill. To reach the temple you will have to climb stairs.

Ticket booking for Ram temple darshan can be done through the official website https://srjbtkshetra.org. Here you can book your free darshan pass by clicking on “Reserve Your Free Passes” or “Sugam Darshan” option. General visits are free here. Generally there is no mandatory ticket booking for Hanumangarhi darshan.

Ram temple and Hanumangarhi darshan time

Considering the winter season, the darshan time in Ram temple is from 7 am to 9:15 pm. Darshan timings in Hanumangarhi, Ayodhya are usually from 4 to 5 in the morning and 10 to 11 in the night.

Timings of Ram Mandir and Hanumangarhi

There are 6 aartis performed in the Ram temple a day, the main ones being Mangala, Shringar, Bhog and Shayan aartis, and devotees usually require a pass to attend the three major aartis (Mangala, Shringar and Shayan). Mangala Aarti takes place at 4:30 in the morning. Shringaar Aarti takes place at 6:30 in the morning and Shayan Aarti takes place at 9:30 in the night. Whereas in Hanumangarhi it usually happens around 6:00 in the morning and after sunset in the evening.

What is the arrangement for YIP Darshan?

For VIP or easy darshan of Ram temple, you can book online pass from the official website of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. In Sugam Darshan, pass is available at Rs 300 per person, through which you can avoid long queues and have darshan directly through the corridor. In Hanumangarhi, there is a separate line for VIP people and they are given darshan.

Free wheelchairs are available for senior citizens and disabled people in the Ram temple. Aadhar card is necessary. Mobile phones, purses, and shoes are to be kept outside the temple premises.

Kanak Bhavan: Apart from Ram Temple and Hanumangarhi, Kanak Bhawan should be visited in Ayodhya. It is believed that in Treta Yuga, Queen Kaikeyi had given this palace to Mother Sita in her presence. Today, Mother Sita and her four brothers are present here along with Lord Ram.

Dasharatha Palace: Dashrath Mahal is also ancient and belongs to Treta Yuga. King Dasharatha resided in this palace. Today the entire family is sitting together in this palace.

Nageshwar Nath Temple: Nageshwar Nath temple in Ayodhya is situated on Ram ki Paadi. It was established by Kush, son of Gavan Ram.

Suryakund: In Tretayuga, when Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya after conquering Lanka, Lord Surya also stayed in Ayodhya for a month. Even today Suryakund is situated in Darshan Nagar.

Ram's Paadi: Ram Ki Paidi has emerged as a picnic spot. This is called the heart of Ayodhya. A laser show is organized on the longest screen at Ram Ki Pauri, where the story of Lord Ram is shown.

Sita Kitchen: Sita Rasoi is not a special kitchen as per its name. This is a temple present in the Ram Mandir complex itself.
