Jewelery worth Rs 18 crore was stolen from a builder's house in Marathahalli, Bengaluru. This incident was carried out by a domestic worker couple, who had started work only 20 days ago. When no one was home, they broke into the locker and stole 11.5 kg gold, diamonds and 5 kg silver. Marathahalli police had started searching for the accused. In this case, other servants of the house informed the family members about the incident.

A couple doing domestic work in the same house in Marathahalli, Bengaluru stole Rs 18 crore. This theft took place in the house of builder Shivakumar of Yamaloor. The accused have been identified as Dinesh and Kamla couple, who had started the work just 20 days ago. It is said that when there was no one in the house, they committed the theft and fled. This incident, which took place on January 25, came to light late.

Through Vikas and Maya Vishnu, the couple came to work as servants in Shivkumar's house. On January 25, when no one was in the house, the accused broke the lockers of the rooms on the ground floor and first floor and committed theft. They escaped with 11.5 kg gold and diamonds, 5 kg silver and Rs 11.5 lakh in cash. He immediately called the family and informed them about the incident. When the family came and investigated, it was found that the lockers were broken with iron rods. Marathahalli police have registered a case in this matter and started searching for the accused.

Villagers caught thieves

Another incident took place at Mayasandra in Turuvekere taluk of Tumkur district, where villagers yesterday caught two accused who were trying to steal from a house. These thieves from Andhra Pradesh were trying to enter a house and commit robbery. As soon as the information was received, the villagers surrounded the house, caught both of them and handed them over to the police. It is being told that the accused are residents of Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. Jewelery, cash and weapons have been recovered from the thieves and a case has been registered at Turuvekere police station.
