Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya today held a village meeting (Gram Chaupal) in the Naugarh development block. The Deputy Chief Minister interacted directly with the villagers, praising the work of women's self-help groups and assuring them of technical and financial assistance to make them self-reliant.Public Hearing: Listening attentively to the villagers' problems, Shri Maurya instructed the officials present to resolve the complaints quickly and efficiently.He clarified that the MNREGA scheme has not been discontinued and that 125 days of employment will be provided under the new scheme, which will be implemented soon. Until the new scheme is implemented, MNREGA will continue. Eligible beneficiaries have been provided with housing, and the remaining eligible beneficiaries will also receive housing. He congratulated those who have already received houses.Present on the occasion were Hon'ble Member of Parliament from Dumariyaganj Shri Jagdambika Pal, Hon'ble MLA from Kapilvastu Shri Shyam Dhani Rahi, Regional President of Gorakhpur region Shri Sahjanand Rai, District President of BJP Shri Kanhaiya Paswan, District Magistrate Shri Shivsharanappa G.N., Superintendent of Police Dr. Abhishek Mahajan, other public representatives, and officials. Tricycles were distributed to persons with disabilities, smart canes were distributed to visually impaired persons, house keys were distributed, and certificates of appreciation were presented.
