America has alerted its embassy in Dhaka that radicals may attack and violence may occur during the elections. Amidst the fear of violence, there is information that Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists have entered Bangladesh from Pakistan.
Pakistan In a shocking revelation, a report has claimed that four Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists have reached Bangladesh from Pakistan. Recently direct air services have started between the two countries. These terrorists have reached Dhaka from Karachi on Bangladesh Airlines flight BG-342.
According to the IANS report, this disclosure has been made by investigative journalist Hasan Khokon. Hasan Khokon exposed the dangerous support of the Yunus government to terrorist infiltration in Bangladesh and its alleged Islamist and Pakistan-pleasing attitude.
The report said that in a post on social media platform

According to Khokon, among the passengers were some people whom he recognized as Lashkar-e-Taiba operatives. Their names and alleged connections were written on their travel documents. He claimed that this points to a major security lapse due to negligence or deliberate inaction under the current government.
Khokon wrote in his post, Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists reached Bangladesh from Pakistan. He also shared some photos showing the passport details of the alleged operative.
According to Bangladeshi media outlet The Daily Republic, this claim comes just after the Yunus government's decision last week to resume direct flights between Dhaka and Karachi, resuming the air route between the two countries after almost 14 years.

According to the report, critics have alleged that the resumption of this route was accompanied by a number of controversial concessions, including special visa exemptions and special rights for Pakistani government officials, military personnel and intelligence officers, relaxation in inspection rules for Pakistani ships at Bangladeshi ports and relaxation in scrutiny of transactions between the two countries.
The current allegations have increased concerns that civilian aircraft could now be used as cover for terrorist activities. Lashkar-e-Taiba is a UN designated terrorist organization, responsible for the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks and several other attacks, and operates primarily with the support of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence.
The report said that Ibtisam Ilahi Zaheer, close to LeT founder Hafiz Saeed and general secretary of Pakistan's Markazi Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith, had visited Bangladesh for several weeks in October 2025.

During this period, Zaheer reportedly visited several sensitive districts along the border with Dhaka and India, including Chapainawabganj, Nachole, Rangpur, Lalmonirhat, Nilphamari, Joypurhat and Rajshahi. According to reports, Zaheer gave speeches appealing for sacrifice for Islam, unity against secular and liberal forces and merger of Kashmir with Pakistan. He also talked to local radical groups associated with Ahl-e-Hadith Bangladesh and people like Asadullah al-Ghalib.
The report further said that security experts have warned that such religious activities could act as a front for LeT to rebuild cross-border networks, recruit in vulnerable border areas and plan operations targeting India's eastern border and north-eastern states.
According to media reports, critics have alleged that the Yunus government's growing closeness with Pakistan's intelligence system, weak domestic security system, lax Pakistani cargo inspection and lax visa screening process have made Bangladesh an easy transit corridor for jihadi groups. He warned that radicalism and terrorist networks were being allowed to take root.
