On this time's Union Budget, Congress MP Manish Tiwari said that this is a useless budget. There is nothing in the budget. Nominal GDP has been continuously declining for the last 12 years. Foreign direct investment has completely gone from India. Private investment is not happening. That is why public capex is increasing. Besides, fiscal debt is around Rs 217 lakh crore, so what's in the budget?

If you look carefully at the Finance Act, many concessions have been made, which coincidentally are in line with the demands of the United States Trade Representative. Has the government given unilateral concessions?

Terrorism and cricket cannot go together

On Pakistan's boycott of the match against India in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, he said that we should never have agreed to play against Pakistan, because terrorism and cricket cannot go together. If we try to separate sports and terrorism, it does not make a right policy. This is, in fact, an insult to the memory of all those who were martyred due to Pakistan's actions, now four and a half decades old.

'It is a violation of the Constitution'

TMC MP Sagarika Ghosh said that All India Trinamool Congress walked out in the Rajya Sabha today because Bengal was not mentioned even once in the budget and its dues are still withheld. This is a violation of the federal structure, centre-state relations and the Constitution. That is why we raised this issue in Parliament and staged a walkout.

SP MP Ram Gopal Yadav said that this budget was not for the common people but for some special people. Go to any village and find developed India. Go and see the condition of Jal Jeevan Mission. He expressed his feelings to the President. They have grabbed the entire fund and people sitting in Delhi (Centre) have closed their eyes.
