For those who want to convert their home into a mini theatre, XElectron has launched its new iProjector 3 Plus in India. This is a smart Google TV projector that comes with Full HD resolution, 4K support and 2000 ANSI lumens brightness. The company is presenting it as an alternative to big TVs. With this there is a claim of 300 inch screen support. Features like streaming, wireless casting and auto setup are available in it.
XElectron iProjector 3 Plus has been launched in India at an introductory price of Rs 27,990, while its MRP is said to be Rs 49,999. That means customers are getting huge discounts directly at the time of launch. This projector is available in black color variant. The company is giving one year manufacturer warranty with it.
The projector comes with 1920 x 1080 Full HD native resolution and supports 4K UHD content, although the output appears downscaled to Full HD. The device delivers 2000 ANSI lumens brightness, which claims to provide clear images even in dimly lit rooms. It can project screen sizes ranging from 55 inches to 300 inches and works up to a distance of approximately 23 feet. It also has support for HDR10 and 10000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.
Official Google TV platform has been provided in iProjector 3 Plus, from which users can directly download thousands of apps. It supports popular apps like Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, JioHotstar, Zee5 and SonyLIV. Up to 32GB internal storage is provided in the device. It also has built-in Chromecast and Google Cast support, through which content can be cast directly from mobile or laptop. Voice search feature and wireless screen mirroring via AirPlay and Miracast is also supported.
This projector comes with many automatic setup features like auto focus, auto keystone correction, auto screen fit, auto tilt correction and auto obstacle avoidance. The company says that it has a completely sealed optical engine, which prevents dust from entering and helps in maintaining picture quality for a long time. For sound, it has dual speakers of 10W (ie 20W). For connectivity, options like Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, HDMI ARC, USB, AV connectivity and RJ-45 Ethernet port are available. It can be mounted on table, wall or ceiling mount.
