The first part of this film had made bumper earnings at the box office, but the second part seems to have failed to show the same magic. In 10 days, this film has not been able to collect even Rs 33 crore at the domestic box office.

'The Kerala Story 2' had to face a lot of controversies before its release. Earlier the court had banned the release of the film. However, later the double bench allowed its release on Friday itself. Many times films get the benefit of coming into controversy, but nothing like this seemed to happen with this one. Although the budget of this film is also low like the first part, in such a situation it can avoid being a flop. According to the report, its production budget is around Rs 28 crores.

On the second Saturday, the film earned more than the second Sunday. This film is also stuck at the box office because at present no big film has released in theatres.
