Varun Dhawan On His Daughter Lara: Varun Dhawan is one such Bollywood actor, who often remains in the news regarding his professional life, but he is rarely seen talking about his personal life. However, now he has made a shocking revelation about his daughter. Varun's daughter's name is Lara, whose age is approximately 1 year and 9 months. Lara was born on 3 June 2024. Varun told that his daughter had a serious illness.
When Varun Dhawan's daughter was about one and a half years old, she was diagnosed with a disease called DDH (Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip). Due to this disease one has to face difficulties in walking and running. Lara had to undergo a procedure. Plaster has been applied for two and a half months and she is now recovering.
Varun Said about this in the Be a Man Yaar podcast, "My daughter had DDH disease. In this disease, the hip does not sit properly or goes out of the socket. In such a situation, one of your legs becomes longer than the other leg. Due to this, there are difficulties in walking. You are neither able to walk nor run properly. You also get slip disc and arthritis quickly."
Varun Dhawan also said that in western countries it is treated well at the time of birth, but it is not so in India. But here too there are many excellent doctors who treat it. Varun also said, "He did not need surgery. The hip was put in place through a procedure, but he had to live in a spica cast (a special type of plastic), which is very difficult. One has to stay in the cast for 2.5 months."

Varun told that first anesthesia was given and when he regained consciousness, his daughter was in plaster. Now the plaster has been removed. Lara is now in a brace and recovering. Varun also said that he wants to write a book on this entire experience.
