Respect for a loaf of bread…Who is that Muslim religious leader who said this for Kashmiri women?

A well-known cleric of Pakistan has admitted that ISI is behind the terrorist group in Kashmir. The name of the Maulvi who told this truth of Pakistan is Mufti Saeed Khan. He is considered close to former Prime Minister Imran Khan. She also told how female refugees are forced to give sexual favors in exchange for basic food. She revealed that Kashmiri Muslim women and girls in the refugee camps were forced to trade their bodies for a loaf of bread.

This confession of Pakistani cleric further exposed Islamabad's proxy war strategy. His statement further proved the role of ISI in sponsoring terrorist groups in Kashmir. Maulvi said these things in a program.

Who is Mufti Saeed Khan?

Mufti Saeed Khan is a Pakistani Islamic scholar associated with the Deobandi movement within Sunni Islam. He is the founder of Al-Nadwah Educational Trust in Islamabad. Khan also took part in the 1995 coup attempt in Pakistan. In January 2023, he was reported as a core-committee member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. Saeed Khan had conducted the marriage ceremony of Imran Khan with Bushra Bibi. Saeed Khan is counted among the very few scholars in Pakistan.

What did the Maulvi say?

According to the cleric, groups often posing as mujahideen or religious fighters prey on homeless and economically distressed women and take advantage of their vulnerability amid instability.

Reports say the cleric's statements could have far-reaching implications as they appear to corroborate several international human rights reports about sexual violence and coercion in conflict areas. If these things are proved, then Pakistan's narrative in Kashmir can be weakened.
