Sources have revealed that the accused has not given the reason behind the attack. He had left Pilibhit on the 1st and was missing from home five days before the incident. According to initial investigation, Sarabjit had left his house on the 1st of the month and remained in touch with his family on phone for one night. He went to Bareilly on 2nd and later reached Delhi on the day of the incident. He did not inform his family about his whereabouts or the purpose of his journey.
