He may have threatened regarding the Strait of Hormuz but he also knew that in the 21st century one cannot be as stubborn as in the 19th century. In such a situation, he too had to exit this war honorably. Therefore, it made its wavering neighbor Pakistan the middleman. As far as Israel is concerned, America's Jewish forces are behind it and they also retreated after seeing the situation.
This ceasefire is not permanent. Only 2 weeks' time has been given. For now, there will be a meeting between the two sides in Islamabad on Friday, then Iran, America and Israel will reach a solution. But all the countries of the world got relief because the middle of the Strait of Hormuz will be opened for 2 weeks.
Actually, according to Indian time, Trump's deadline was about to end at 5:30 am on Monday, April 8. But 2 hours before the clocks reached this deadline, Trump announced a ceasefire for 2 weeks. Thanking Pakistan, Trump said that if Iran opens the Strait of Hormuz, he will not attack Iran for 2 weeks. On the other hand, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Agarchi said that if the bombings on Iran stop, then it will agree to open the Strait of Hormuz.
However, Trump did not shy away from expressing his arrogance. He said that they have achieved the objectives of their military attack on Iran. Iran has sent them a 10-point ceasefire proposal. According to him, agreement on the agreement has almost been reached. Therefore, within these 2 weeks mutual understanding will be reached and the war will be ended. Trump also said that with this agreement his efforts towards permanent peace in the Middle East will be successful.
On the other hand, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Agarchi is considering this agreement as a victory. He said that talks between the two sides will be held in Pakistan's capital Islamabad to finalize the agreement. Agarchi said the purpose of this conversation was to portray Iran's victory as strong. Agarchi also said that America will guarantee not to take such aggressive action again in future.
But Iran is still not subdued by America. He clearly says that Iran will have control over the Strait of Hormuz. Iran will continue its uranium enrichment program. All sanctions imposed by America on Iran will be lifted. The most important condition is that all the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council (UNGC) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will have to be abolished and there will be no attacks on Islamic resistance organizations in Lebanon.
These proposals are such that if Israel is accepted, Israel will cease to exist and America will have to face defeat. But without accepting these, Iranian fighters will not agree to a ceasefire.
